We're still analyzing the extend of damage
So I've gone to various places to get my scans done. Here in Thailand we do not have too many places like in the US. This means that the queue lists are pretty long. But I managed to cut this waiting time from 2 months to 1 week. So now that we have those data, my next step is showing it to the right medical specialist that will lead to initiating the right healing process.
I only have seeing CT and MRI scanning units on pictures and in documentaries. It's a hell of a useful technology. With CT scans we see very clearly our skeletal structure - even the small bones. CT scan is kind of an X ray, only an X ray is a photography on paper and a CT scan is the digital equivalent of your bones and stored in a file. Using a computer you then have all the features like looking at a normal picture. You can zoom in and out, have it in color and many more of other features.
The MRI scan goes a bit more into details. Beside the bones we also can see our muscles, ligaments, tendons, cartilage etc. Because we have so many more information compared to the CT scan, the bones are not very clearly seeing. But we have the CT scan for this.
This moment is also challenging in another way. Not being able to physically exercise is the worst that can happen to a person who has done sport life long on a regular base. You now sure can hear me thinking of alternatives. Yes, I'm looking for those. I don't think I will be happy doing 2 month nothing and only sitting in my chair.
